Dovex is the largest organic grower/packer/shipper in the Pacific Northwest. In 2009 we will grow and pack 2.5 million boxes of organic apples and pears. That amounts to about 35% of the total organic supply out of Washington State. We grow about 80% of our own tonnage. We grow on such a large scale that allows us to be very competitive in growing costs with conventional produce. With our research with the Nielson/Perishables group, we know the price points where you can successfully compete with conventional product in the marketplace.

Ten years ago Dovex began it’s journey into Organics. Dovex was the first large shipper to create an Organic department and to have an organic Sales Manager. Dovex orchards and field operations have been sustained longer then any of our major competitors. We have developed new ways of organic growing and environmental conservation that allow us to grow safely and earth friendly.
